Who are Work Psychology Group?
Work Psychology Group is a business or organisational psychology consultancy that collaborates with organisations around the world to help improve performance, communication, job satisfaction and fairness.
Formed in 2003 by Professor Fiona Patterson and Dr Maire Kerrin, our growing team of highly skilled business psychology practitioners is based in the UK and internationally. We have offices in Derby and London but often collaborate remotely too. In fact, we’ve been doing that since before it was widespread. So, we’ve got it down to a fine art.
We are passionate about helping our clients to address social mobility, diversity and inclusion within all their organisational practices.
And we try to make a difference ourselves in this arena by running a work experience programme to help business psychology students who might be struggling to find an opportunity to take their first step on their career path.
But it’s not all work, work, work. We like to have fun too. We get involved with projects that benefit local communities. In recent years, we have helped with forestry projects and in local community gardens.
We also have lunch and learn sessions. There’s a weekly stretch for those who fancy and lots of team building – both in person and virtually. Recently we’ve had cooking, crafts and crime scene conundrums!
Work Psychology Group – thinking differently about work.
