Personal Experience & Biography
Charlie Eyre is a Senior Associate at Work Psychology Group and an experienced Chartered Occupational Psychologist, with 25 years’ experience working in the areas of assessment and selection, leadership development and coaching. He has worked with senior leaders across public, private and healthcare sectors on a one-to-one coaching and group basis, with particular focus on resilience and work-life balance, workflow management / productivity, personal career planning and transition, and conflict management. As Principal Psychologist at the UK College of Policing, he held lead responsibility for projects including the national policing assessment centres, and leadership selection and development programmes. He is a CMI Chartered Manager, an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, and has been Senior Editor of the British Psychological Society Psychometric Test Review process for six years. He is currently completing his Professional Doctorate at Birkbeck, University of London, focussing on the impact of mobile technology on work-life balance. He is a Full Member of the International Society for Coaching Psychology, and a Certified Principal Practitioner with the Association of Business Psychologists. Charlie is qualified in numerous psychometric tools (including HDS, MVPI & NEO), and has extensive experience of applying these in both selection and development contexts. He has co-authored a range of professional guidance documents, including the BPS Standard for the Design and Delivery of Assessment Centres.
