Máire is a founding Director of the Work Psychology Group, a research led consultancy specialising in Assessment, Development and Innovation. She has over 20 years of experience working in these areas in the UK and internationally. A Chartered Occupational Psychologist, she previously worked as a Senior Consultant with the Institute for Employment Studies. She has a wide range of experience in managing and delivering strategic consultancy projects within the private and public sector.
Máire works with private sector clients in finance, publishing, retail, manufacturing and oil and gas. She also has significant experience within the government and healthcare sector leading strategic and often high-profile projects with the Ministry of Justice, Department of Health, NHS Employers, Health Education England, the Medical Royal Colleges and the UK National Recruitment Office for General Practice. Prior to setting up the Work Psychology Group, Máire held a number of academic posts including Senior Lecturer in Organisational Psychology at City University, London and Lecturer in Organisational Psychology at the University of Nottingham. She continues to engage in a variety of research activities through current work collaborations and she remains a Visiting Lecturer at Cass Business School, City University of London where she is a member of the Centre for Creativity in Professional Practice and contributes to the Masters in Innovation, Creativity and Leadership https://www.cass.city.ac.uk/faculties-and-research/centres/creativity
