The role offers the potential for development and progression within a growing and well respected occupational psychology consultancy, while providing the opportunity to have a significant impact on client outcomes.

  • Supporting the day-to-day implementation of large and high-stakes projects, including the design, implementation and evaluation of bespoke psychometric assessment tools and solutions, including job analyses and assessment centres.
  • Contributing to the design, implementation and evaluation of a range of bespoke assessment solutions and organisational processes.
  • Undertaking analysis using both quantitative and qualitative techniques.
  • Writing reports and executive summaries, to reach a range of audiences.
We have office space in Derby and London, with flexibility to work from home. Some UK-travel should be expected, in line with client requirements.

The experience and skills you’ll need:

  • To be educated to Masters level in Occupational Psychology, or equivalent, with an accredited course providing eligibility to pursue Occupational Psychologist status.
  • An interest in selection and assessment.
  • To be capable of conducting statistical analysis using SPSS and motivated to develop competence in this area.
  • To have work-based experience of working as part of a team.
  • To work flexibly and co-operatively with colleagues and clients, communicating effectively and building positive relationships to achieve objectives.
  • To work independently at pace, show initiative and transfer learning from one setting to another.
  • High attention to detail, in terms of listening to instructions and picking up errors/double checking work etc.
  • To work competently with Excel (including creating graphs), PowerPoint and Word (including formatting documents and creating tables in reports).
  • To be an effective communicator, both verbally and in writing.
  • To be a qualified Psychometric Test User in Occupational Ability and Personality Testing (desirable).
